AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO MICHAEL WAYNE CREEL OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Michael Wayne Creel of Harrison County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his convictions of the crimes of false pretense and forgery in 1968, 1980 and 1981 in Harrison County, Mississippi; he was paroled April 11, 1983, and discharged from parole June 14, 1986, and has completed the penalty and any conditions imposed upon him for such convictions. The Legislature has been reliably informed that he is now conducting himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
